Spare Change Drives:

All throughout the year, The Give a Gift Foundation holds spare change drives at local retail stores and in the intersections of local cities. Volunteers stand outside of these stores and collect money to fund the foundations daily endeavors. We are constantly looking for retail sponsors to allow us to solicit in front of the stores, as well as volunteers to participate in the local change drives. Everyone who gives anything is helping. Remember... no matter how small... IT HELPS! 

sun. Sept 12 Dinner/Dance Event

The Gift A Gift Foundation has teamed with Arthur Murray of Sterling Heights, Tina’s Country House of Macomb and Fatman & Little Boy Mediaworks to raise funds for terminally ill cancer patients by holding a dinner-dance at Tina’s Country House on Sunday September 12th 5-9pm

The evening will include dinner, cash bar, dancing, Share the Wealth Raffle, prize raffles, and auction. Auction items include: autographed Rolling Stones guitar, autographed Soul Legends drum head, baseball autographed by Barack Obama, autographed Twilight photo, autographed Rat Pack photo, trips to Kennedy Space Center, Maui, New Orleans and Tokyo. In addition, a Michael Jackson autographed album will be raffled off. Tickets for the raffle will be sold at the event for $20 each.

Tina’s Country House is located at 50828 North Ave, Macomb, MI. No ballroom dancing experience or dance partner is required to attend. Tickets for the event are $50 per person and may be purchased through Arthur Murray Dance Studio. TEXAS HOLD 'EM POKER PARTY is in tHE PLANNING STAGES....

Come win money and prizes.  We will be holding the party at McCool's sports pub 350 East 14 Mile Road Madison Heights, MI 48071. No need to register or reserve a spot. Poetry Book:

Our staff writer, Andrea Rose Meldrum, will be releasing a book comprised of a collection of original poems dealing with the subjects of cancer and hope. She will be donating 100% of the profits to The Give a Gift Foundation. The book will be available on The Give a Gift Foundations website. Fall 2010.

Charity Car wash IS ALSO IN THE PLANNING STAGES....

Although this project is still in the beginning stages of development, the tentative plan is to hold car washes at major sit-down restaurants. The car washes will be held in the parking lots with volunteers from the establishments as well as volunteers through The Give a Gift Foundation. We are currently looking for corporate sponsors as well as volunteers. The proceeds will go toward a sponsored recipient of choice during that month. August TBA 2010.
